City of Crystal Falls recently issued the following announcement.
To be placed on the November General Election ballot you must first file a nominating petition with the City Clerk. You can get the petitions from the City Clerk’s office at City Hall. The nominating petitions require the signatures of no less than 25 nor more than 50 qualified electors of the City. The candidate must also be a registered elector of the City. City Council offices are for terms of four (4) years and begin with the first Council meeting following the November General Election. Nominating petitions are due on July 28th by 3 pm to Tara Peltoma, City Clerk/Treasurer. No exceptions if late.
