City of Iron Mountain issued the following announcement on Oct. 7
The Iron Mountain Water Department will be flushing hydrants from Monday, October 12, 2020 through Friday, October 16, 2020. During this time some areas may experience low water pressure and or discoloration. If discoloration occurs, run your water until it runs clear. Depositing leaves and other yard debris in any gutter, street, or other public place within the city is prohibited by City ordinance Section 30-84 as it causes catch basins to become obstructed.
