City of Bessemer issued the following announcement on July 14.
Republic Disposal is hoping to have most of the north side of the highway done today and will be back tomorrow to finish rest of the city.
Please leave your bins out so that they can get to them.
The city council will be looking into this matter at the council meeting on Monday July 19th to figure out how to best address this as the construction continues in our city.
