City of Bessemer recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Bessemer is requesting quotes for delivery of screened sand and/ or screening 1,500 yards of sand. The City owns a sand pit and is interested in bids for screen it as well as having the sand delivered. The City will decide how to proceed after getting the bids in.
DELIVERY: If your bid includes delivery of screen sanded, the location is to the City of Bessemer, City garage. Proposer must state the number of days for delivery from the time of order.
TIMELINE: All sand must be screened and/ or delivered by September 30th.
BIDDING: The City of Bessemer will be accepting sealed bids up to 8/17/21 at 11:00. All bids must be received by the city at this time.
BID SELECTION: The City of Bessemer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. The City also reserves the right to inspect and test all sand
