Dowagiac Fire Department issued the following announcement on Dec 31.
Looks like it’s still forecasted that we get some of that winter weather this weekend! Heavy snow and ice is projected for parts of our area. With that being said, please plan ahead if you have to travel.
Also, slow down and move over if you see any emergency personnel on the roads. Those police officers, firefighters, EMS workers and tow truck drivers have families to go home to, too! So let’s do our part and keep them safe while they help others!
