The City of East Lansing is pleased to announce that the Spartan Housing Cooperative will be hosting an East Lansing Pride event this Saturday, June 25 from 4-7 p.m. in downtown East Lansing’s Albert EL Fresco.
The event is being hosted in celebration of Pride Month and the LGBTQIA+ community and will feature various local vendors, Pride decorations and a drag show from 6-7 p.m. The vendors at the event will include the Lansing Area AIDS Network (LAAN), Wild Ferns Wellness, End Violent Encounters (EVE) Inc. and TransAction MSU.
“As a community that values the lived experiences of all individuals, we are pleased to support the Spartan Housing Cooperative in their efforts to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community with this upcoming Pride event,” said East Lansing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Director Elaine Hardy.
The Albert EL Fresco is a pedestrian-friendly space located along downtown East Lansing’s Albert Avenue, between Abbot Road and M.A.C. Avenue.
