Head coach Alex Fatovic has unveiled the 2025 spring schedule for the Northern Michigan University (NMU) men's soccer team. The schedule includes six matches, with three to be played at home.
"We are excited to announce our very challenging and exciting 2025 spring schedule," said head coach Fatovic. "Our guys have been putting in a ton of work during the first half of the semester to continue the momentum from the fall."
The Wildcats will begin their season with three matches against NJCAA programs. They will travel to Livonia, Michigan, to face Schoolcraft College on Sunday, March 16. Schoolcraft College concluded last season with a record of 12-4-1 and secured the NJCAA Region 12 Championship.
Following this, NMU will host a double-header on Saturday, March 29, at the Superior Dome. They will play Madison College at 1 p.m., followed by Bryant & Stratton at 4:30 p.m. Madison College ended last season with a record of 10-5-2, while Bryant & Stratton finished with a record of 2-10.
The Wildcats' home games conclude on Sunday, April 13, when they host Wisconsin-Superior at the Superior Dome at 1 p.m. Wisconsin-Superior is coming off its eighth-consecutive UMAC Postseason Championship title and reached the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament last year.
NMU's spring schedule concludes with two away matches in Wisconsin. They will face DI Green Bay on Friday, April 18, at 8 p.m., followed by St. Norbert College on Saturday, April 19, at 4 p.m. Green Bay finished last season with an overall record of 11-7-2 and reached the Horizon League semifinals. St. Norbert College had a record of 5-9-4 last season.
Fatovic expressed anticipation for community support: "We look forward to seeing the Marquette soccer community out for our Superior Dome games on March 29th and April 13th!"
