McClellan Avenue will be closed between Fair Avenue and Wright Street starting Monday, October 20, due to utility service installation for the McClellan Habitat for Humanity Homes project. Oberstar Inc. will carry out the work. The closure is expected to last one week. A signed detour will direct traffic around the closure using Fair Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, and Wright Street.

Truck drivers are encouraged to use US-41 and Wright Street as their detour. Access to homes and businesses in the area will remain open during the construction period.

Officials advise the public to exercise caution in the area and pay attention to construction signs. "The public is advised to take caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction and advisory signage."
