Isle Royale National Park opens commercial use permit applications for water-based tours

Isle Royale National Park has announced that commercial operators interested in offering guided water-based tours for the 2026 and 2027 seasons can apply for a two-year Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) beginning November 1, 2025.

In August 2025, the National Parks of Lake Superior Foundation (NPLSF) collaborated with several partners to conduct a large-scale cleanup at Fisherman’s Home, a historic commercial fishing camp located in Isle Royale National Park.
