City of Marquette issued the following announcement on Sept. 26
The Marquette Regional History Center, in cooperation with the City of Marquette Arts & Culture Center, is excited to announce the 2019 Holiday Art Sale, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale will take place at the Marquette Regional History Center, located at 145 W. Spring Street in Marquette. The History Center is a destination, providing holiday shoppers with access to world-class exhibits. The Museum will hold an old-fashioned bake sale, their annual Dollhouse Days, and the History Center gift shop will be open for the event.
There will be a $2 admission fee, which includes entrance to the Holiday Art Sale, MRHC Exhibits, and all other activities. All proceeds support the MRHC, a private, non-profit 501c3 and community gem.
The following artists will be exhibiting in the 2019 Holiday Art Sale juried event:
Judy Parlato, Judy Sarosik, Kay Johnson, Diana Magnuson, Kristi Mills, Linda Ludwig, Jennifer Lasslett, Ann Golden, Mary Ann Theis, Karen Jilbert, Candace Prill, Danita Rask, Julie Highlen, JoAnn Shelby, Synthia Marsh, James Giddings, Emerson Graves, Jenny Frein Hamel, Terri Merrick, Steve Lindberg, Kenyon Hansen, Lindsey Heiden, David Payant, Susan Estler, and wreaths and table pieces from Rock River Farms.
