City of Marquette recently issued the following announcement.
With the local asphalt plants shut down, contractors and homeowners are reminded that work in the City right-of-way that requires street pavement or curb removal and restoration is prohibited.
This restriction will remain in effect until the spring when the frost is out of the ground and the asphalt plants are operating.
This restriction will not apply to emergency repairs such as broken sewer and water lines.
