Lake Superior State University recently issued the following announcement.

SHARP is a thirteen year old modern company and its theory of “meaning behind movement” is shown prominently throughout their work. SHARP feels that dance should be more than a performance, it should be an experience.
SHARP has performed throughout the U.S. in cities such as: New York, Rochester, Phoenix, Chicago, Cincinnati, Portland, Boulder, San Diego, Brooklyn, Portsmouth etc. SHARP has toured throughout Europe in Italy, England and Greece.

“Aquarian Exposition”
A Trip back to the Original Woodstock taps into the spirit of love, acceptance and exploration that made the hippie movement one that will transcend time. In Aquarian Exposition (the original name of Woodstock) you will see, our version of not the Woodstock performance itself but what all the people listening to the concert might have been doing in the fields during those 3 amazing days. 2019 will be the 50 year anniversary of Woodstock.
“Puzzle”
SHARP’s newest work premiered in November 2018, PUZZLE is a collaborative modern dance experience designed to piece together diverse life experiences and challenge the ingenuity of both the artists and audience. Co-created by Joe Cotler, Koresh Dance Company Member and Diane Sharp-Nachsin, SHARP Dance Company’s Artistic Director, PUZZLE will be a combination of two: styles, ages and experiences all rolled into one exciting piece.
