City of East Tawas recently issued the following announcement.
Attention City of East Tawas Water and Sewer Customers
October’s water and sewer billing will look a little different than normal. New water and sewer rates were effective as of October 1st and there was an error in the residential water calculation. Due to the steps taken to correct the calculation issue, your bill will show up as a Past Due balance. Anyone receiving an emailed bill will have received two different bills. Please pay off the second bill received that was sent on Sunday, October 25th. If you have any further questions or would like a current breakdown of your bill, please contact City Hall at 989-362-6161. Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience.
