Democratic House Candidate Janet Metsa lost her bid for State Representative in the race for House District 110 to Republican incumbent Gregory Markkanen.
Metsa conceded in the following statement posted on her Facebook page on Nov. 4:
“I just left a congratulatory message to Greg Markkanen on his impressive victory in the 110th. I got into the race to give the voters a choice; and they have chosen. I wish him all the best on his long trips to Lansing.
Thanks to all of you who have supported me in large ways and small; the words of encouragement, the financial support, putting up yard signs, dropping literature, making phone calls, your votes, and your smiles have made this journey worth doing.”
