Dear Parents/Guardians:
The Bessemer and Wakefield-Marenisco and School Districts are partnering with the Superior Health Foundation for breast cancer awareness month. This fundraising event will provide funding to both men and women to cover breast health expenses not otherwise covered by insurance. The theme for the event will be titled “Painting the Peninsula Pink.”
On Saturday, September 25, 2021, we will be having a pink party during the Gogebic Miners vs. Stephenson Eagles varsity football game in Wakefield. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM CST. There will be pink merchandise for sale, prize baskets to be raffled off, and pink Gogebic Miners jerseys worn by the players to be raffled off as well.
We are currently selling Gogebic Miners “Paint the Peninsula Pink” t-shirts for $10 each. Orders are due on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 by 11:00 PM CST. The link to order the t-shirts is found below.
