City of Dowagiac issued the following announcement on Sept 17.
We are so close.
Great progress is being made on the Paul St sidewalk. We expect to complete that next week.
Northbound N Paul Street is still CLOSED.
Crews have opened all lanes each weekend.
In the meanwhile... SAVE
SAVE... Frustration. If the sign says closed, it really is closed
SAVE... Money. Traffic tickets cost money.
SAVE... Face. No, you can not just scoot around that closed sign because you'll only be a moment.
SAVE... Lives. Lanes are closed for the safety of our contractors. We bet you like to feel safe at work too.
Hang it there, it will be worth the little bit of inconvenience.
