City of Ishpeming issued the following announcement on Sept 13.
NOTICE: The City of Ishpeming hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for the Davis Street Storm Sewer Project which entails removal of a forty-foot section of existing HDPE storm main, replacing with two precast concrete manholes with 15” side by side RCP storm pipes, driveway paving, and associated site restoration in the City of Ishpeming, Michigan. The project completion date will be October 31, 2021.
TIME AND PLACE: Bids will be received at the Ishpeming City Hall until 10:00 A.M. (Local Time),
September 17, 2021. After the official Bid closing time, the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. In addition, The City of Ishpeming will not consider any proposal which has not been received prior to the published time, date, and year of bid opening (FAX transmittals will not be accepted).
BID SECURITY: Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond guarantee for five (5) percent of the Bid Amount.
BID REJECTION/ACCEPTANCE: The City of Ishpeming reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof at its discretion, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding.
