Homecoming week… the best week to be a cheerleader in my opinion.
A tradition we have always been able to keep up (at least as long as I can remember) is that the cheerleaders wear the Varsity boys away jerseys with their uniform at the game.
Most years I have at least 1-2 atheletes who I pull strings to get them uniforms. This year is different. I have at least 5 girls who don’t have a uniform to wear. We a lot of 9-10th graders this year.
I think this is a really simple tradition that I’d like to see continue & hope reaching out to the parent side I may be able to get some of you to back me on this & hopefully persuade some of the boys to let us use their jerseys. If not, we will adjust and it will all be okay. The girls agree this is a homecoming tradition we want to continue and this is my last ditch effort to help them achieve it.
