City of Iron River issued the following announcement on Oct 1.
PUBLIC NOTICE
FALL BRUSH PICK UP IN IRON RIVER
The City of Iron River City Public Works Department will be conducting its fall leaf/brush pick up on the following days:
• Former Village of Mineral Hills: Monday, October 25th
• Iron River North of US-2: Tuesday, October 26th
• Iron River South of US-2: Wednesday, October 27th
• Former Stambaugh area: Thursday, October 28th
Properly bagged leaves/garden waste will be picked up during this time. Properly placed brush, butt ends 4” or less and lengths 8’ or less only, (with butt ends to the edge of street or alley) will be chipped and removed during this time.
Items placed on the curb after your zone scheduled pick-up date will not be picked up.
Do not rake leaves into street as they will not be picked up.
NO GARBAGE, TRASH, TIRES, OR DEBRIS WILL BE PICKED UP; ONLY BAGGED LEAVES/GARDEN WASTE AND PROPERLY PLACED AND SIZED BRUSH.
The City brush dump located on Evergreen Street by the West Iron County Schools is open 24/7 until November 8, 2021.
