Bessemer Area School District issued the following announcement on Nov 12.
On behalf of everyone at the Bessemer Area School District, "THANK YOU" to all veterans. Your service and sacrifice does not go unnoticed.
Today we helped to honor some of our area veterans. Mrs. Rowe and her National Honor Society students held their annual Veterans Day meal (breakfast, this year) and there was an assembly for all K-12 students and the public afterward. The guest speaker this year was General John Banes.
