City of Iron River issued the following announcement on Nov 11.
CITY OF IRON RIVER
PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Iron River will conduct a public hearing to receive comments on the acquisition of a 2022 HV507 International Plow Truck for $162,782. The City has been awarded a grant from USDA-Rural Development in the amount of $100,000. The balance will be financed by a loan that will carry 1.84% interest amortized over 3 years.
The hearing is scheduled for Monday, November 29, 2021, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Written comments can be sent to City Clerk, 106 W. Genesee St., Iron River, Michigan 49935 or e-mailed to bcoates@ironriver.org.
