Baraga Area Schools issued the following announcement on Dec 1.
PLEASE HELP ...I am trying to develop a "Flour Baby" project. This is designed to help teach the responsibilities involved with pregnancy and raising a child. It is my goal to help the students realize the commitment of time, energy, and resources that is required to have a child.
I am trying to cut costs where I can, so that I can do this project with my students.......if you could or know of someone who could donate any of the following for this project that would be great..
I am looking for the following donations to make this as fun and educational as possible:
-----Panty hose (any type, size, condition or color)
-----All kinds of baby clothes or items - our babies will be newborns to 6 months.
-----Yarn or any other craft supplies you think could be used.
-----Old T-shirts size Large or higher (to make baby carriers)
Please call/text me at 201-1300 or just drop off items at school and tell them it is for Ms Lakes class.
