A HUGE thank you to Trail Boss Scott Heikkinen

Ty

City of Hancock issued the following announcement on Dec 28.

A HUGE thank you to Trail Boss Scott Heikkinen and his team of groomer operators and the city employees for working all morning on this cold, snowy, blustery day to get the bridge opened for snowmobile crossing!

Please join me in thanking them for all of their work and dedication to the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club trail system!

The bridge is officially open for snowmobile crossing!

—Scott Heikkinen

When riding  Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula

Trail 120/121 Freda Loop and Trail 3 from Dollar Bay to Lake Linden will be closed for the season due to the extensive damage from the 2018 flood. The trail from Hancock to Dollar Bay and from Calumet to Lake Linden will be open so both towns will be accessible

Trail 122 is TEMPORARILY closed after the turn off for Dreamland Restaurant & Bar (Sawmill Rd) when you are coming from Lake Linden.  You can still access all of the businesses in Lake Linden and Jam Service Inc.  and  Valley Sno Drifters trail to Dreamland once that club opens it.  *You can not use Trail 122 to connect to Trail 124*
