The Greater Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator.
Our organization is a non-profit membership organization with a mission to provide leadership and support for the economic advancement of our community, while building programs that benefit our members.
We are seeking someone who would like to make a positive impact on the greater Dowagiac community, working both with and for our business community. This person should have experience and be creative in organizing, marketing and executing events and/or festivals, as well as enjoy creating relationships with members of the business community.
The candidate for this position should have strong written and verbal communication skills, should be highly organized with the ability to work independently much of the time, as well as collaboratively, and be comfortable with work that involves fundraising, customer service interactions and administrative tasks that include, but are not limited to, budgeting, book-keeping and banking.
