City of Iron Mountain issued the following announcement on Feb 22.
The City of Iron Mountain is in receipt of a variance application from Billies Frozen Yogurt Shop, LLC for a reduction in lot size requirements for a drive-in or fast-food restaurant from 20,000 square feet, per City ordinance Section 74-562, to 11,805 square feet at IM- 2196-2197 LOTS 13-14-15 AND THE N 20 FEET OF LOT 16. ---EXCEPT--- HIGHWAY US-2 R/W BLOCK 7 KIMBERLY'S 4TH ADDITION ALSO VACATED ALLEY R/W ADJACENT TO LOTS 15 -16 to the City of Iron Mountain, also known as 406 E. Grand Blvd.
The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at 4:00 P.M. on March 17, 2022, at Iron Mountain City Hall, 501 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain, Michigan 49801.
Comments will be received until 4:00 P.M. on March 17, 2022.
