Woodland Child Care Center Grant

Caregiver special needs child

Breitung Township School District recently issued the following announcement.

A big congratulations goes out to Maggie Carpenter, the director of the Woodland Child Care Center! She applied for and was awarded a Stabilization Grant.

It is a non-competitive grant for child care providers to help stabilize operations and support the health and safety of children and staff. These funds are available to help keep the Woodland Childcare Center doors open, and focus on what matters most…supporting the kids and families.

This grant also allows all families to have access to safe, quality, affordable child care that meets their needs- regardless on how old their children are, where they live, family income, or their race/ethnicity.

The photo includes Maggie Carpenter and two child care children, Deacon and Amelia.
