City of Iron River issued the following announcement on Mar 29.
City of Iron River will conduct a public hearing on April 4, 2022, at 12:15 p.m. at Iron River City Hall for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed application for a CDBG grant.
City of Iron River proposes to request $189,720 in CDBG funds to construct a public gathering space in the traditional downtown area of the City at a cost of $210,800 and benefit at least 51% low to moderate income persons. No persons will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities.
Further information, including a copy of Iron River’s Community Development Plan and CDBG application is available for review. To inspect the documents, please contact Bernadette Coates, City Clerk, or review at Iron River City Hall Clerk’s Office. Comments may be submitted in writing through April 4, 2022, at Noon or made in person at the public hearing.
