NOTICE OF CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION
ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER
CITY OF IRON MOUNTAIN, MICHIGAN
The City of Iron Mountain, Michigan is accepting applications for examination under MI Public Act 78, Civil Service, for Police Officer until 4:00 P.M., Monday, May 23, 2022 at the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer, 501 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain, MI 49801. The purpose of this examination is to establish a list of eligible applicants for this position. There will be an immediate hire. Applicant must be a high school graduate and be certified or eligible for immediate certification through the Michigan Commission of Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) at the time of hire. Proof of MCOLES certification or pre-Police Academy educational background must accompany the application. Any person requiring special accommodations must contact the City Clerk/Treasurer prior to the examination date. Eligibility and qualifications will be evaluated by the Police and Fire Civil Service Commission as provided in Act 78 of PA 1935 as amended. Applicationscan be returned to 501 S.
