Registered voters have the opportunity to vote in a primary election on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
Absentee Ballots will be available in the City Clerk’s office until 4 pm August 1.
Additional office hours to obtain an absentee ballot and register to vote will be on Saturday, July 30, from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. Please bring a valid photo ID to obtain your ballot.
- Drop boxes for ballots and applications are located in the parking lot and lobby of Holland City Hall. These are emptied at least 2x/day and are under video surveillance 24/7. Drop boxes at City Hall are for Holland City ballots and applications only.
- Ballots sent via US Mail must have proper postage on the envelope.
- All ballots must be returned by 8 pm on August 2nd (Election Day) to be counted. This does not mean postmarked by August 2nd - ballots must be in the Clerk's Office by the time polls close. We do check with the Holland Post Office on Election Day to ensure we receive all ballots they have.
