Of the 555 citizens living in Big Bay in 2020, 551 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 142 of those people were female and 409 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.

Statistical data for 2021 will be released later this year.
