On Friday, Feb. 28, former Escanaba Jr/Sr High School standout Gabi Salo’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Escanaba Jr/Sr High School standout Gabi Salo’s current college team, the Wisconsin Badgers, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.

The game took place at St. John Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chanticleers this season.

The Badgers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 10:05 a.m. at St. John Stadium against Bowling Green Falcons.
