The City of Marquette has announced that all annual flowers, plants, and other temporary seasonal items must be removed from Park Cemetery before Monday, October 15. According to the city, starting on October 15, crews will begin winterizing the cemetery and will dispose of any such items left at grave sites.
"Beginning October 15, City crews will be winterizing the cemetery and will dispose of such items left at grave sites," stated the announcement.
This action is part of routine maintenance to prepare Park Cemetery for the winter season.
