Graduates earn 18 degrees, certificates from Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College

About 33.3 percent of the 18 degrees and certificates handed out by Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College in 2017-18 were to students in natural resources and conservation programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Baraga conferred 5 associate's degrees and 1 certificates in natural resources and conservation programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in environmental science. Data shows the school gave out 5 associate's degrees in environmental science, followed by 4 certificates in corrections and 3 associate's degrees in american indian/native american studies.

The college enrolled 84 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
