Cost of college went up for all students at Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College

Tuition and fees rose 4 percent for 2018-19 at Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Michigan students paid $3,140 to attend the two-year public institution this year – $120 more than the $3,020 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 9 students received grants or scholarships totaling $24,205.

Including all undergraduates (84), 74 students used grants or scholarships totaling $380,738.
