Lake Linden-Hubbell School District Education: 376 students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 376 students enrolled in Lake Linden-Hubbell School District in the 2022-23 school year, 1.3% more than the previous year, according to the Michigan Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50% of them were girls, and 50% were boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 97.9% of the Lake Linden-Hubbell School District total enrollment.

Lake Linden-Hubbell School District covers one school within Houghton County with its main office in Lake Linden.

Overall student enrollment in Michigan remains below pre-pandemic levels, white students experiencing the largest decline at 6.5%.

Academic performance has also suffered, with the state's average NAEP score dropping by 6.5 points and ethnic achievement gaps widening. Black and Hispanic students' average math proficiency dropped by 7% in 2022, to 13.5% and 28.2%, respectively.
