The Board of Zoning Appeals in Marquette has scheduled a special meeting for October 23, 2025. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and take place in Room 103 at the Municipal Service Center, located at 1100 Wright Street.

During this session, the board will review a request from 401 W. Washington St, LLC regarding property at 401 W. Washington St. The company is seeking two variances from the City of Marquette Land Development Code. The first is for a 25-foot curb cut and driveway separation variance, and the second is for a 4.49-foot rear yard variance.

According to the request, the applicant wants to construct a driveway without separation between the adjacent curb cut and driveway. Additionally, they propose building a three-story structure with a lower-level parking garage that would not meet the required five-foot setback from the rear lot line.

The public can attend this meeting to learn more about the proposed changes and their potential impact on local zoning regulations.
