Marquette City Fire Department plans firetruck display and parade for Fire Prevention Week

The Marquette City Fire Department will hold several events for Fire Prevention Week, including a firetruck static display scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. If it rains, the event will be moved to October 11. A parade is planned to begin at 12:30 p.m.

The static display will be set up at Harlow Park on Bluff Street. The parade route will run along Washington Street from Seventh Street to McClellan Avenue.

Attendees can expect to see fire trucks, rescue vehicles, and Sparky the dog during the event.
