Electronic Meeting Notice
Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
In accordance with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ recommendations designed to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and the current amendment to the Open Meetings Act allowing public bodies to use telephone or video conferencing technology to meet and conduct business, the Board of Review of the City of East Tawas City will hold an electronic meeting via telephone/video conferencing at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, to correct mutual mistakes of fact or clerical errors as described in Section 211.53b of the General Property Tax Act. An owner of property that is a “principal residence” on June 1st may appeal to the December Board of Review for the current year and the three immediately preceding years if the exemption was not on the tax roll, as provided for in Section 211.7cc (14) and 211.ee (6) of the General Property Tax Act.
