City of Bessemer issued the following announcement on Jan 4.
Due to an abundance of caution and Covid-19, city hall will be closed until further notice. You can check back here for reopening information. Bills can still be dropped off in the drop box or mailed to city hall. During this time, water will not be shut off for missed payment.
If you have a water, sewer, road, or similar concern, please call the city garage at 906-667-0453. If you have another concern that needs immediate attention, please call the city manager at 906-663-4311 ext 4 and leave a voicemail. She is checking her email for voicemails. You can also email her at charly.loper@bessemermi.org.
The library is still open and plowing will not be impacted. Thanks for your understanding.
