Of the 8,079 people living in Menominee in 2020, 49.1 percent (3,965) were women and 50.9 percent (4,114) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the UP Gazette.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 303. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,020 females and 789 males.
