4.1% of Baraga County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Baraga County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 130 people out of the 8,249 living in Baraga County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Baraga County has remained fairly stable compared to the 4.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Baraga County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.2%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
